Anil K Pinapala

Anil Pinapala, Founder & CEO of Vivifi, is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned FinTech leader with over 25 years of global experience across the U.S. and India.
He is widely recognized for building breakthrough lending infrastructures for non-prime, underserved and credit-invisible borrowers - with a deep focus on gig workers, One Person Enterprises (OPEs), self-employed professionals, micro-entrepreneurs, and emerging India’s salaried workforce.

Anil’s career spans multiple successful FinTech ventures, including the creation of the world’s first web-based POS & Loan Management System, which captured 50%+ market share in the U.S. alternate lending market. He went on to build a bill-payment platform processing $5Bn+ annually, and later established a U.S. digital lending company that disbursed $1.5Bn within 3 years.

At Vivifi, Anil brings this deep expertise to India with a vision to power “India Unlimited” - designing long-term flexible credit products and alternate data-driven underwriting models tailored for individuals traditionally excluded from formal credit.
His leadership has enabled Vivifi to become one of India’s most innovative and inclusive digital lenders, serving millions through fully automated, tech-first systems.

Anil is also an active voice across major industry associations including UFF, FACE, FCC, and RBI-led forums, where he contributes to national conversations on digital lending standards, responsible credit frameworks, AI-driven underwriting, and MSME financial inclusion.

Under his leadership, Vivifi continues its mission of lending differently by enabling fair, scalable, and inclusive credit access for India's next generation of earners, builders and entrepreneurs.
