Arman Assakayev

Currently, Arman is one of the leaders of the non-profit organization FinTech AI Center, whose activities are aimed at the development of artificial intelligence, digital assets and financial technologies in the financial market of Central Asia.
After working for 10 years at the international oilfield services corporation, he opened an IndustrialTech startup in 2021, which he left in 2023 to pursue career in public sector. He joined the RSE "Kazakhstan Center for Interbank Settlements of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan" as an adviser to the CEO, and then held position of the Head of the Project Office in the established JSC "National Payment Corporation of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan". He led the processes of reorganization, building corporate governance and implementing a product management approach. At the beginning of 2024 He moved to the position of Advisor to the CEO on Artificial Intelligence, where he led and coordinated AI development efforts within central bank and its’ subsidiaries.
The leading author of the report "Artificial Intelligence in the financial market of Kazakhstan 2024: current state, prospects and analysis of regulatory approaches", written jointly by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Astana International Financial Centre, leading author of Cryptocity Concept of Alatau City report and upcoming AI adoption research on Central Asia financial markets.
Owner and director of First Validator company, which provide services in real world asset tokenization.
